Dalle mie parti il Natale si è ridotto a questo, per stessa mano dei promotori dello spirito cristiano. Uno schiaffo in faccia, in questo 2013, soprattutto ai precari e alle famiglie in crisi.
Sono questi i momenti in cui capisco che la mia lontananza da certi ambienti ha motivo d'essere.
Trovare nella cassetta delle lettere una tale cafonata è, tra l'altro, ciò che ha ispirato il mio primo verso sulla traccia "Nahtale Nahmean" di Vest'O, al minuto 1:15.

The picture above shows a letter by the local Church that everyone in my village received some days ago.
In the first days of December, here in Italy, the local priest and some of his people go from door to door to wish a merry Christmas, say a prayer with the families and...guess what?
Well, let me translate for you what you see highlighted in the middle of the picture: "In order to avoid any loss of time, we suggest to prepare your offering before the priest arrives".
This is what the Church boils down to around here, paradoxically because of those who should best represent the charitable christian spirit.
All I've got after this is a clear sense of why I keep a distance from certain environments. And a Wu-Tang song in my head. Yes, you got it: "Cash Rules Everything Around Me: C.R.E.A.M. get the money...". Euro, Euro bill, yo.
The highlighted words in that letter represent a slap which, during crisis time, hits particularly hard in the face all those who are struggling to make ends meet.
This is what inspired me to start my verse for Vest'O's "Nahtale Nahmean" by saying (at 1:15) "A hook to the priest who claims an offering".

Bhé, se "sono questi i momenti in cui capisco che la mia lontananza da certi ambienti ha motivo d'essere", è un po' traballante la tua posizione. Lo scandalo è fratello del moralismo, non ricordo se minore o maggiore.
